Industry peers recognize self-certification during ETMA’s annual meeting in Philadelphia
MDSL, a global leader in Technology Expense Management ("TEM") solutions, has been awarded the 2018 ETMA Best Practice Award for its Self-Certification best practice. One of three finalists, MDSL received the award after presenting to an audience of their industry peers during the Enterprise Technology Management Association’s (ETMA) annual meeting in Philadelphia this past week.

Large organizations routinely fight inventory validity as part of their ongoing TEM practice. Self-certification leverages MDSL software to routinely poll users and managers and verify that active inventory is valid and currently in use. The practice enforces IT security and compliance measures while improving cost allocation and reducing expenses. Proof points of the process are widespread among MDSL clients, including a recent annualized savings of €320,000 for a Global Fortune 500 technology company.
